One hen keeps flying the coop to lay

13 hens and a Roo, they have about a quarter acre of fenced in space with trees and bushes and open area. Any of them could get out if they wanted to but one of them wants to. She keeps it up every time she wants to lay. Flies the fence and comes down to the house looking for a laying spot and eventually does.

She can let herself back in too. Its not an issue outside of fishing eggs out from under the porch. I suspect wing clipping us the only answer to this but hoping there's another?

Could try blocking off the porch so she can't lay there anymore. As for laying in the coop, are there enough spots in there for your hens? Are the spots clean?

There is enough spots and also there are spots outside too. Three or four hens insist on laying outside and its not a bother so I dont fight it. This one in particular comes down to the house, though.

Sounds like one of mine. Out to lay in "her" spot. Sometimes she goes back in; sometimes not. Increase fence height, clip wings, or net over run is about all that can be done. Or like me, say f it.
