One. Hundred. Thousand. Dollars. Have y'all seen this?

You mean I put all that work into building my coop and I could have just bought this set-up?

Seriously though... who buys that?!?!

I imagine if you can afford that coop you can afford to hire someone to dust! Did you notice "delivery" is not included? Just think of the average cost per egg!

You will notice it is listed under Fantasy Gifts, what fantasy world are they living in to thank this up But if it's in the Neiman Marcus christmas catalog, then urban chicken keeping will become the next big hobby, and it will be easier to get more people to change city ordinances and more poor helpless chicks to be rescued (remember Shar Peis and California Spangle cats?)</p>

This is on the TODAY show as i write this.. i was looking at these pics and watching TV and lo and behold they have this coop live on the show! I wont be ordering one..LOL.. do millionaire types really keep chickens? However, I have been scouring the local thrift/ charity stores for a chandelier for my coop, as long as it is under $10 !!

Well it might but at the same time, if they become trendy it can also have a terrible effect, with chickens being abandoned when the 'fad' dies off. It's a real double edged sword.

I hope this doesn't encourage stupid rich people to get chickens they don't know or care enough about to raise them properly. Too many animal shelters are filled with the dog breed of the month; can you imagine the poor chickens?
