Hi all! đź‘‹
We just got our first egg today!! So exciting! Our kids were thrilled!
We have 4 pullets, all are around 16 weeks...3 BOs, and a Barred Rock.
I just bought a new bag of Grower/Finisher feed last week. Can I continue to feed this? Or do I need to switch to layer feed now that one is laying? Sounds trivial but I just want to make sure I'm doing it right to avoid any health issues.
Should I make oyster shell available now as well?

Finish the bag dont start layer feed till they are all laying and make sure you set out grit for the ones that are laying

Many people never use layer feed at all (even young laying hens don't lay continuously). All flock or something similar with oyster shell on the side is a good option.
