A lot of eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeewwwwwwwwwwwwwing.

Cheyenne decided when I said I was making hamburgers to say "oooh can I do it or help" so after talking to Dad to see if he was willing to brave her cooking hamburgers, I let her loose on the meat.

Now when she realized she had to put her hands in it to mix it up...well it got real funny. And there was a lot of yanking her hand away and squeals of "eeeeewwww".

Of course, my being the good mother that I am

Haha thats too funny. My grandmother taught me how to cook and for the longest time I would use a small wooden spoon to mix the meat with. She has pictures somewhere. I couldnt stand the way it felt. And then having to add mustard to the hamburger meat, made it even more 'ewwier' haha that was the good old times.

When she saw the raw egg in there she said "Mom, I have to put my hands in that?" I said "yup" and grabbed the camera.

Yeah the feel of the eggs still kinda gets me. Sometimes I wear gloves when making hamburgers. I dont like the meat getting under my nails. Everyone just rolls their eyes and laughs. How old is your daughter?

12 going on 20! hahahaha I guess it would bother most people getting under their nails but I just never grew up wear gloves...even when we were butchering cattle and so forth...just reach in and go.

HOWEVER, do not ask me to walk barefooted through any squishy slimy stuff. NO FLIPPING WAY. That is my grandmother's fault. My sister I both got a roundworm on our foot...she took us into the pasture and stood us in fresh cow manure. It worked and the roundworm was gone but it grossed me out for life.

Debi I am shocked! I never thought of you as the eeeeewwwwing type...I figured you would take on a bear bare handed with a toothbrush. hehehehehe

Ew I still cant touch raw meat...even fish. DH does all the burger mixing stuff.... I cant really stand to have my hands covered in any kind of food, but I will do it when I have to. My mom and I were making enchiladas one night recently and she saw me making faces while dredging the tortillas in enchilada sauce cause it was all over my hands and she was like "OMG Rachel! I didnt know you STILL had that problem! You've been this way since you were a baby, youre 24 and have your own kids you have to get over this!" uh yeah the pics of my 1st bday show me using my index and thumb to pick small pieces off the cake cause I didnt want to get dirty...

But I can get real dirt on me, thats fine. Just no food stuff. I would NOT be doing what shes doing in that pic!

She said cool she will go over there for a few days and help you with dinner...both the cooking and the eating of it.

Edit from Cheyenne: hahaha she wants to ask "Can Suede sleep with me or maybe Zane?"

I told her Zane would probably like the company but Dusty might get a wee bit testy for stealing at night.
