I posted a few weeks ago about a chick hatching with only one leg, I was worried about her ability to survive and have a good life. I am proud to tell you that "Una", along with her brother Geronimo, is now almost a month old and is doing great!!
This is Una as a new baby:
And this is Una yesterday:
She can stand, hop, jump up/down onto different surfaces, and do just about anything her brother can! Yesterday I set her on a table for a picture, but she didn't like the surface, so she jumped onto my shoulder. Then she jumped down to the ground and landed 4 or 5 feet away, then came running back to me. It is so amazing to watch her hopping around.
Look at her leg! She's so strong and steady! Chickens are amazing.
