I think I will have a hoe or a shovel near the coop for these creepy things.
My husband is working or out of town when stuff like this happens.
Although I haven't seen a big snake like the ones I have seen on BYC in a couple of years, but I'm sure the will be back when the coop is operational.
I don't know one snake from the other, but we have rattle snakes and water mosickins (sp?). Not looking forward to the day I come across the first one.
