One more confused newbie

Hello, my name is Bridget. My husband and I live in Maine with our small flock of chickens...White Comets, Buff Orpingtons and New Hampshire Reds. We have some cats, a standard poodle and a diving pony.

I am not sure how to use this site...any site for that matter, but so few people around me have chickens and I have had some now for about 6 years and I ALWAYS have questions. Hopefully I can find a way to get some conversations going.
