Of my four girls, as of today, three are now laying. WOOHOO!!
My EE and Australorp have been laying very well for a few weeks but the Welsumer wasn't. A few days ago I added some cayenne(sp?) pepper to there feed and voila! My DW called me at work today all excited when she heard the third egg song of the day...
They were well rewarded with their current favorite treat, mealworms, and went hapily about their day. The only non-layer left now is my lil silkie but we got her as more of a pet than anything else anyway...
