now the last chick has hatched how do you clean the hovabator for the next round? take it to the yard and hose it down. how do you disenfect it?
i need to get it out of the kitchen because it stinks. yuck!

I have put bleach in a spray bottle left it on till the the styroform turned white again then washed it off.
I also got some stuff from TSC to spray on after.
I try and keep it all away from the electrical as bleach will eat it up over time.
keeping the screen clean you need to scrub it the last time we used cheesecloth which seened to work out ok.

Make sure you wash the unit down after using the bleach you don't want to smell the chlorine when the unit heats up and don't get the electrical wet if you do dry it off.
