One of my assumed silkies hasfeather legs & the other does not.

I have two 1 month old chicks who appear to be silkies. They have the extra toe, dark skin, and are super fluffy. I've done a bit of research on this breed, and I've yet to see a silkie with clean legs. One of my chicks has the usual fuzzy legs, but the other chicks legs are clean. Has anyone ever heard of a clean leg silkie or have I overlooked them in my searches? I would appreciate your suggestions!! Thank you!

I have gotten hatchery Silkies without feathered legs/feet. Naturally, they were not pureblood Silkies, but what is pure from a hatchery?

Agree, Silkies with hatchery blood or such breeding could very easily not express the foot feathering, 5th toe, black skin, crest, etc. Take your pick. I have seen and heard of them lacking foot feathering.
