Got the first egg from one of my young Australorps, about 23 weeks old. My ISA Browns have been laying for 2-3 weeks now and are giving me large eggs consistantly(2.1-2.25 oz.) My first Austrlorp egg was only 1.5 oz so technically it's a pee wee(1.25-1.5oz.) but I'm still happy with her. Won't be long before the rest of my girls start laying too. I am already getting more eggs than my wife and I can eat and use. I will soon be putting a sign out on the road to sell free range eggs!

congrats:)
