One of my chickens laid something really strange...

None of us know what to think. It looks nothing like an egg...it was found on top of their laying boxes, where many of our girls sleep.

It's hard to even know how to describe this thing that apparently came out of one of our chickens...it's smaller than an egg and really looks nothing like an egg. It has no shell. The inside of it has all these cellular cavities. Oh geez, my description's no good. Maybe I need to take a picture.

None of the girls seem ill. Does anyone have any experience with something like this? Our chickens are all 2 years and under.
