one of my chicks pipped at 16 days

one of my chicks pipped at 16 days, i looked in the window of the incubator and there was a pipped egg in the turner, it had only been in for 16 days.....

we have hatched 10+ chicks in the last week or so almost all pipped around 21 days give or take a day

so we moved the pipped egg to the hatcher..


is this normal?

has anyone ever experienced this? and if so what was the outcome?

What temp are you running? Are you sure it wasn't an egg from an earlier hatch
