One of my EEs finally laid

Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. It's always a gamble with EE's.

Mine too! Our first egg, from an EE and it's a cream color. I have one more EE I'm waiting on.

Argh, that is a disappoinment. I have three EEs and one just started laying -- at 31 weeks! The other two still have pinkish combs, not red, so they are still not ready to lay. Mine did lay a blue egg though... But who knows what the other two will lay. I told them they have until Thanksgiving to get started

I still have 3 EEs yet to lay soooo maybe I'll get a green egg out of one of them!

I also have 2 ameracauna that are 12+ weeks old so I'll fer sure get a blue egg sooner or later except the breeder said on occasion they will lay a white egg

which would be okay (i guess) at least it will be something other than brown!
Either way, both me and the pullet were so proud of her first egg.
