Warning for all light-skinned human folks.....

Chicks LOVE moles, skin-tags, liver spots - you name it, if it's a 'spot' they'll be peckin' at it!

My 9yo has a mole on the inside of his wrist...you can bet he's using his OTHER hand to offer treats from! He got pinned pretty well by our 5wk old chicks! Poor kid. He's fine, chick's fine, but he won't use that hand any more near the chicks!

Good thing they didn't take to pecking your cut! Yee-ouch!

I learned that the hard way a few weeks ago. I have a rather large mole on my left forearm and reached in to wrangle someone, while I was trying to get that one, another came up and just pecked it as hard as she could. Hurt for hours! lol​

add in painted finger and toe nails. I gave up on both. They also LOVE cat's tails. My cat sleeps on the brooder and has a furless spot on her tail now from her little chicken freinds.

I laughed when I read the title of this post.

This very day, my own chicks halfway tore the bandaid off my finger, I had to take it off before they did.
