One of my missing Game hens is back

And she's not alone!

I haven't been able to get close enough to count or get pics, but she had at least 5 or 6 Game X Marans chicks with her.

I have been missing 4 of them and had a feeling I'd see them soon. Just miss calculated how long they've been gone.

I've searched my entire yard. I can't get under the bush they're hiding in, so there may be more mommas to be under there.

They're so cute and healthy. No chocolate ones, so she's not the one that produced those. LOL

They all look like FBCMs. Well at least the ones, who's legs I could see.

Still no pics as she is keeping them under cover, but what I thought was 5 or 6 is actually 4.

I have no idea how I'm going to catch these little buggers. They sure are fast.

I am missing a hen also and hope the results are the same.
She did this last year and hatched 11 chicks..

I was really hoping I saw more, but 4 will do. Sunshine is gonna be upset though when I rehome those babies. If I had found her broodie I would have slipped some eggs under her from my other breeds. It's so cute though to watch them come peeking out and her calling them back in.

Began to feed them~~sprinkle grain bits~~feed them slowly ~ closer and closer~into a pen with a string to the gate, close it when they are safely inside~~it may take a couple days.

I was out with starter and they'd get just close enough and Sunshine would cluck. They'd zoom off and she stood there puffed out like she was going to charge me. She never was the friendliest bird, but she is so pretty.

I think I'll take a couple of days and see if they will go into ta run with me.
