One of my new chickens runs away in fright every time I get close!!

Whenever I get close to one of my new chickens, Rosey, she sqwaks in fright and flaps away. I want all of my chickens to like me but she Is just scared of everything!! HELP ME!!

be patient @halliet . Food works as a good lure, and if you just sit tight next to her food and don't lunge for her when she comes near, in time she will come to see you as a good thing and not a terrifying giant potential predator.

Hi! They all have their own personalities too. I have an Easter egger that will not let me touch her until she goes on the roost in the evening. Most young hens will settle down a bit and become calmer and friendlier when they start laying, but some just don’t so much. Try not to feel bad, just be calm and let them come to trust you.
