One of my Silkies has a strange & crooked breast.

The breast seems extra large & grows to one side. I'm assume its the breast, all of my chicks have a similar lump in the same spot in their chest but this girls seems large & crooked. Everything else seems normal as far as this beginner knows. I was worried about marek's but the eyes are not grey. Its the chick on the left I am concerned about.

That's the crop you're seeing - it's the area where food first goes when eaten. Some birds' crops are barely noticeable, while other birds end up looking like lopsided Dolly Partons. If you ever have a concern about crops, check the bird first thing in the morning before it's had a chance at food - it should be barely noticeable...

Thanks, later when I picked the rest up I noticed that more of them had the lump. I was kinda freaked out. Now it all makes sense!
