One of our hens has decided to molt - in this weather!

I was feeding chickens their evening grain when a featherless silkie-mix ran out for her share. Poor baby! Wish she had molted when the others did last fall and early winter. I'll have to keep an eye on her and keep a watch on the weather reports. It is very snowy but in the teens and twenties so warm in the coop. I only worry when it starts to head towards zero.
 
I feel for you.... I've got the same thing happening. One of my Astrlorpes is molting. Just about naked. Have her in my heated garage...poor thing looks horrible.
 
My Australorp has just started to molt, too!! This is definitely not the time of year to be naked!!!

i've got a buff orp that is in a hard moult & she acting really ill. I posted on the emergancy board looking for advice, I've got her in the house in a dog kennel now.
