One of our hens sleeps with her head buried between two others

Do you have enough roosting space for them? I'm wondering why she's standing on the floor vs being on the roost with them cuddling.

They have plenty of room. We have 2 roosting bars in there that stretch the entire width of the henhouse, roughly 5' 8“. They pretty much all cuddle together up against one side or break up into 2 groups like this.

It's very common for chickens to "cuddle" together when they sleep. They are flock animals, after all, and when half-asleep it's easy to know where the rest of the flock is.
