One of our turkey's is very ill

What a heart warming response - thank you so very much!

The problem is that here in France, where I live (from the uk), the general attitude is one that animals are there to either eat or hunt. I generally get laughed at when I am craddling our animals in my arms - but I don't give a hoot!

We once tried our hands at two goats but one became very ill and we called out the vet, who was kind and gave nutrients and she was doing so well - lol not the vet! The next morning, I went to feed her and found her cold. With tears pouring down my face, I had no choice but to drag her out of her enclosure, since the other one was there too. I kept saying sorry because of bumping too and fro and our neighbour came to see me about something and just stood there with a blank face. I wished she would just buzz off to which she did!

No matter the animal; they all deserve to be treated with respect.

I so appreciate your lovely invitation and it could be me using it as she is the third one to be unwell. Happily the other two are doing great now!

I know how you feel, I'm from New-Brunswick Canada originally but recently moved to the Philippines and animals here don't get the respect they deserve, some people think I'm odd for loving animals. It's especially hard in a classroom system because there is no real protest against bullying here...
