One of the 15 are laying soft shelled

I have one Wellsummer that consistently lays a soft egg and it gets stomped on. I am hoping she will see the calcium in both baked and smashed shells or the oyster shells and it will help her.

Plus I am now finding eggs that are layed out in the chicken run. Put they are in safe places and always intact. I suppose it is not a problem. I just need to do an Easter egg hunt through the run each day.

I love finding them. So no problem.

Thank you for the reply. I am enjoying learning all about the ladies and what they need to be happy and healthy. BTW we are up to 5 or 6 eggs a day. yeah!
