I have heard of people taking waterfowl eggs out to cool from 10 to 15 mins a day(maybe after so many days incubated) so the gosling will stay small and not get too large in the egg, if they are getting large that maybe the reason they had a hard time hatching..but I am drawing conclusions here I don't know for sure.
My geese haven't started laying yet, but it shouldn't be much longer. I can't wait to hatch out some white Africans.
swheat...I forgot about that. I did occasionally take them out and do the cool and warm water thing, but it has been so busy. Now I am very upset with myself! Ugghhhhhh. Well I have 3 more in the incubator so I will remember thanks to you!
