My 4 day old chick was walking over to the heat lamp to take a nap with the others. Then she stopes to stretch her wing and falls over! Wing still out, doing the splits, and falls asleep! She then stands up nd looks around like she ment to do that.

I got 4 little welsummer bantams 3 weeks ago. Three hens (Barbina, Pastina, and Stelline) and a rooster (Tortelloni). All four of them are still pretty young (I'm not entirely grown yet but the girls are already laying eggs).

Loni tries his hardest to crow every morning but he hasn't quite got it down, yet. I can't help but laugh when I hear him.
(he's also not very loud)

I gave them bananas today for the first time (which they loved). Loni kept picking up pieces of banana and taking them to a different spot to eat them and the hens would run over and steal them from him.

they flew up on the counter and ate a half a stick a butter.

I gotta watch them closer from now on.

I've never thought of chickens eating butter. It just struck me as funny.

I went outside after the flock went in their coop, looked in the window and wondered why on earth I couldn't see in... Shined the flash light into some big ole chicken butt... Ened up all bad, because my dog tried to bite rhe chicken butt. I love hardware cloth, Tbone, on the other hand, got a mouth full of bad ouch

Well yesterday Buttermilk stepped on a spider and was like *squeal*

One of my hens pecked the dog on the nose - the dog did not seem to find this as funny as i did lol.

hahaha!! Every morning Snap spills the rabbits' feed.

My chickys always look up at me in the am when they are being fed....then fly up to roost on my back when I bend over to put the food in their feeder.....I love it, but they are getting a little heavy now....
