One out of 42 babies hatched so far

I'm getting so worried that none of the other eggs are going to hatch. Only one chick is out but he's been out for hours. Is he early? I really don't want him to be alone.
I'm on day 22 and I hear no peeping from the other egg and no movement

Did you candle the eggs at any point during incubation? It is unusual that only one chick has hatched already. If he's been in the incubator for hours, you may want to remove him and put him in the brooder. It is unlikely that he is early; rather, the others are going to be a little late.

But, don't give up on the hatch! Lots of people have chicks hatch late, sometimes as late as day 25.
