The size of waddles on the black bird indicate bearding gene inhibiting wattle size to me. Bearded, straight comb and clean legs, OE/EE??

I've never seen an Australorp that age that wasn't being questioned as a cockerel. Is black Orp a possibility?

Agreed on RIR pullet and BSL cockerel, they don't technically earn their hen and rooster recognition until reaching a year old. :)

Cute birds. Where did they come from? :pop

There is no beard...

I ordered them online from amazon when we were all going nuts over the pandemic and you couldnt find a cartoon of eggs in the store to save your life .
