Once the girl left, the cozy shop was silent except for the acoustic music playing in the back. Megan turned up the volume on the speaker, then changed the music to her 'Favorites' playlist. Music made her happy and smiley, which was very necessary here. Megan took out a pan of chocolate chip cookies from the oven, then carefully moved the cookies from the pan to a porcelain plate. The aroma filled the entire kitchen and wafted out into the shop area

Fay jumped and shrieked a little, but then realized that it was Saige.
She gladly took off her mask and hugged Saige happily.
"Yes, it's me! I can't believe you're here! Wait, how long have you been here?" She asked curiously.
"I just "woke up" this morning!" Saige exclaimed and hugged her again "I was just at the Tea Shop! Have you been there? It's lovely! But more importantly, where are we? And why do we get clubbed for being sad?" Saige asked "Have you got your house? I'm going to mine right now!" she said this all very fast.

Saige left Fay to go to her house and returned to the Tea Shop. She entered and waited at the counter for Megan.
Megan looked up at the sound of the door bell. She closed the small leatherbound book she had had open and set it aside, making sure to lay it face down. "Hello again," she smiled broadly. "What can I do for you now?"

"I was wondering, if you might be hiring for a job? I just got her and well, I need to support myself. I have $80,000 saved but that'll run out eventually." Saige asked Megan hopefully.

"Oh," Saige's comment took Megan by surprise. She thought hard for an answer, "Well I, uh, I'm not really in need, of, uh, an employee right now, but if I ever do, I'll be sure to contact you," she said the last part with more confidence, having had a few seconds to gather her thoughts while stuttering out 'uh's. "What's your name and where is your house so I can call on you if necessary?" She asked.

Fay was going to answer all of Paige's questions, but she had already left. She shrugged and continued heading to her home, rather curious of what it'd be like.

"I'm Saige Featherlight," she said and handed Megan a copy of the piece of paper the police officer had given her for her address "It's OK, I can't work now. But please tell me if you ever need me!" and Saige added as she left "I'll tell my friend about this shop. She'd like it." Saige shut the door behind her and went to her house, it was a very light brown and had a dark chestnut door. She felt something heavy suddenly appear, she reached in her pocket and somehow a key was there. Saige slipped it into the keyhole and unlocked the door "Odd," she muttered Then again, this whole place is odd she thought as she walked into the house. It was rather small, but Saige thought it was cozy. It had an upstairs, downstairs and a small attic, she walked around. All her belonging were here... Saige walked over to a small portion of the downstairs where a couch an armchair and a TV was. The TV hung on the wall and the seats were cushy, soft and velvety. They must have upgraded some of my stuff she thought, as she walked to the kitchen area. There was a wall dividingit from the rest of the house, in it were brand new equipment, a seek silver refrigerator, a shiny microwave, under it a silver oven, when she turned a black stovetop stood in front of her and to the left of the stovetop was a sink with what looked to be a gold faucet It can't be real gold? she asked herself as she looked at it closer. Saige left the kitchen area out to a table for up to four people, Saige assumed it was if you had a party. But she only knew, and only wanted to know, Fay. Saige walked upstairs to find a cozy bedroom, it had a full size bed with an ice blue comforter and sheets. There was a vanity with a box of makeup on it, with a cushioned chair in front of the vanity. To her right was a dresser filled with all her shirts, pants, and a few skirts which she rarely wore (Like me). To her left was a closet with all her dress, which were all fancy part dresses, because Saige didn't really wear dresses that much. There was a bookcase with all her novels and movies in it. And on the very top shelf of the bookcase were 23 glass animals of all colors and shapes. Saige wondered how all her stuff had gotten here from her old home in Deleware, but she knew she was very far away from home now...

Megan barely had time to look up from the address before Saige Featherlight left. She had had no intention of ever hiring twenty minutes before that meeting, but now she decided to consider it. It would provide her promised company nearly ten hours of every day, which was something she hadn't had in forever. She made enough money from the coffee shop to hire without worry of lacking monetary-wise. Overall, it seemed a good idea. However, Megan wasn't one for spur of the moment decisions, so this would need a good deal of thought. It was nearly time for the afternoon crowd, so she went to prepare another batch of chocolate chip cookies.
