One smoke free day...........

Like others have posted, I too, tried to quit many, many times, with all kinds of products. The one thing that got me through it "cold turkey" was hypnotism. Some may laugh, and thats ok. But I walked in a smoker of 20 years and walked out an hour (or so) later not even thinking about it. That was well over a year ago and I haven't looked back!

So, what I'm trying to say is, YOU CAN DO IT!!! You will feel better with every day that goes by. The coughing and morning "ick" will stop, the hurting lungs, all that crap will go away. And I can RUN with my son now! lol....

KEEP GOING, YOU CAN DO THIS!!

Awesome and congrats!!!!!! Love to see more in the process and all of you who have been smoke free for a long time!!!! I certainly helps.

Again, THANKS, THANKS, THANKS!!!!!!!!! You guys are a terrific bunch!!!!

Oh, and I did try hypnosis already. *SIGH* even that didn't work. I think, like so many have said, I just had to be ready and nothing else can make me quit. I must admit, it has been a rather stressy day!!!!!!

I have been "smoke-free" for over 10 yrs. You think when you quit you'll always remember that day but for me, the day faded but the memory of not stressing about cigarettes has not faded. I tried hypnosis and it worked for about a year. Then I tried the patch. I attribute my success to the combination of wanting to see my granddaughter grow up and the patch.

Best of luck to all that are trying to quit. It isn't easy but you can do it! I would say...find your motivation and then do it for yourself. It will be one of the best gifts you give to yourself, family, and friends.

Those of you who are quitting! My hats off to ya! It's a tough thing to do I"m sure. I have never been a smoker but most of my family is and I have seen them trying to quit ...not an easy thing to do

Good luck to who ever is giving it a shot! YOu can do it!

One thing that is definitely helping me is that I have NEVER smoked indoors. Smoking is an inconvenience anyway......I have to go out to do it. I even lived in
Alaska for 4 1/2 years.......REALLY thought I would quit then, but noooooooo......I actually wrapped in blankets to go out and smoke. I definitely had to wait for the right time!!!!!
