I just won/paid for an ebay auction for 100+ coturnix eggs! I was debating on whether to bid on her auction or another auction for 45, since this will be my first try, but, well, the 100+ were only two hours away (1 day shipment) instead of a two or three day shipment for the other auction. Plus, this one had more variety and was cheaper per egg. Any excess will be sold or slaughtered, so extras aren't a big deal, I have spacing to hold everyone and everything will be good, at least until slaughter time comes, lol. To be 100% honest, I'm not exactly ready for them, I am actually just now testing the incubator and getting used to it, but it should be four days until the eggs come, at the soonest, so I should be fine. Pray with me that everything goes well and I end up with a decent amount of strong and healthy chickies!

This is going to be MISERABLE! Lol. My incubator doesn't even have anything in it, and I can't help but check it every half hour, at least. I'm going to have to have hubby knock me out every night once they finally get here and go in, or I won't sleep.

Lol. I made sure to shoot her an email. She's sending them Tuesday (should be here Wednesday) and the package will have delivery confirmation. I send a lot out and get a good amount of packages in, and I always make sure there are delivery confirmation numbers and make sure that the receiver (whether it be myself or someone else) knows when they go out and when to expect them. Just makes life much easier.
