Cure? I been in this almost eight years and here is what I do
Go by new construction on houses looking to get scrap lumber to build more coops
Have more numbers in my phone for Chicken people and Farm stores than i do relatives
I know all the people at the auction I go to and even have a good friend there that will call me and let me know whats there on nights I can't be there and bid on it if i want it.
I have 4 hatchery Catalogs and 2 poultry supply Catalogs on my desk right now.
I look for chickens in peoples yards and i even stop and ask about them.
Have more BYC folks and Chicken people on my Facebook than i do personal Friends.
I love Chickens and now I love Ducks as of last year and don't even get me started on the pigeons, doves and peafowl

I notice absolutely every chicken in every movie, TV show or commercial.

I noticed the chickens in the Free Credit commercial just last night.
I have had chickens since August, but didn't really get "bitten by the chicken bug" until they started laying eggs for me. Now I am thinking that I want to hatch some eggs. I don't have an incubator, or really a place to brood them, but I could get both easily enough. My husband always says that I get the animal before the pen for the animal. I guess he might be right. Does this mean that I'm obsessed?
I am using the excuse that I have 2 roosters and 5 hens and that I need more hens to keep things in balance. Do you think I can sell that to DH?
