One week old duckling aggression

I have 3 ducklings that hatched last week. One is a Pekin and the other two are White Crested. They were all great until yesterday I noticed a little red on both of the Crested's heads, almost where their ears would be. Today the Pekin was being super aggressive toward the other two pecking at the red spots and making them worse. It almost looked like he was jealous because he doesn't have the fluffy head feathers so he was trying to pull them out but obviously this can't be it.

I've separated them so he can't do any more damage, though they are peeping like crazy for eachother.

Has anyone heard of such a thing? Will this behavior change? And, can I put bacitracin on the sores?

I have heard of this happening. Can you separate them but still let them see each other?
