One Week Old Today!

My chicks are now a week old and I have to say I have had so much fun with these little fuzzy butts. They are growing so fast and starting to show their own personalities, so I have gone ahead and named a few of my favorites. Here are the latest pics;

Georgie, my husband's Ameracauna- with Effy, the Buff Cochin in the front (she manages to make it into so many of my photos - Queenie!)

Lucile, my Ameracauna girl - (named after my riding instructor);

We have started to take flight around the brooder - it is pretty funny.

I have seen other post where people say they don't like to name chicks right away because of bad luck. What is this about?

Thanks - Ooh, don't know about that - personally not a big "luck" peep, my view is that we have been given a huge gift from above and we make of it what we do.
