~Macawi couldn't suppress a tiny smirk, not visible to Smoke. Flood's plan was working just as he said it would. "It's a great shame... that he wasn't caught as.... h-he ran off." She blinked innocent eyes up at Smoke. "I tried to call out, but I was too weak."~

Chumani reached down and mpnuzzled Macawi gently. "Don't you worry about that" she nickered gently. "Smoke and the other stallions will deal with him"

~Zitkala hurried up to her fallen foster daughter with a snort of dismay. "Macawi!" she whinnied, ears swiveling wildly with shock. "Whatever happened to you?"~
~Macawi smirked inwardly. This was the horse she'd enjoy betraying the horse. "Paytah attacked me..." She trailed off innocently. Oh, little do you know...~

Hinto wheeled around and sprinted towards Paytah. "Misae is gone" he panted. "I.... She got in a fight with another mountain herd yearling but - I was running so hard I was out of earshot" he flicked his tail nervously and turned an ear back, hoping Paytah wouldn't notice the lack of reality behind his story.

Hinto wheeled around and sprinted towards Paytah. "Misae is gone" he panted. "I.... She got in a fight with another mountain herd yearling but - I was running so hard I was out of earshot" he flicked his tail nervously and turned an ear back, hoping Paytah wouldn't notice the lack of reality behind his story.

~Paytah lifted his head, feigning a bounty of pride he no longer had. "Misae's gone, eh?" he snorted, his dark eyes narrowing with suspicion. That Mountain Herd- not only do they steal territory, they can't even keep their greedy guile hooves off of own herd members! I'll bet they've foalnapped her or something similar..."Take me to where you last saw her." His ears shot foward as Hinto's doubt showed. "No matter who owns the spot now."~

~Paytah lunged into a thrumming gallop and pulled his strides high until he reached the wake of the elite Hinto. His breath came in powerful, enraged bursts as they flew down the familiar path that had been used by generations of Valley Herd.

~Macawi smirked inwardly. This was the horse she'd enjoy betraying the horse. "Paytah attacked me..." She trailed off innocently. Oh, little do you know.

I was grazing In the field while I saw this partially but thought she was getting scolded or something of that matter I was all alone no-one ever was around me why I thought as I moved closer to smoke and Macawi I heard Macawi say that Paytah had attacked her

I knew I shouldn't be listening but I ran up to smoke because as far as I was concerned he didn't even know I existed I had seen her affar in the woods talking to herself but from what I saw she was walking fine but of course I knew nothing because no one knew who I was or where e I came from

That's when I saw her coy smile that she seemed to be hiding from smoke
