Alright, so here's the situation. I hatched out a chick in February that developed an over-sized wing. I wouldn't worry about it except that besides looking strange and slowing him down when he tries to run, it also seems to be causing him pain. A couple of days ago, I found him lying on his back in the run with his large wing outstretched and bloodied. I don't know what exactly happened, and he's recovering well, but I am concerned it was caused in some way by the wing's large size. I'd like to avoid such an incident happening again if I can.

Ordinarily I would just make plans to process the poor guy, but he's such a sweetheart. I would like to help him if I can, and am open to suggestions. Does anyone have any ideas on what to do about Samurai's large wing? Does anyone have experience with a bird that had one wing larger than the other?

Samurai's large wing tends to drag and slow him down, especially when he tries to run or fly.
