Darkwynd lifted her head, chewing her clover. She neared the campfire, sniffing at it nervously. She was less fearful of fire than normal horses, but it still unnerved her.

Feather grabbed the two babies and shook them hard. They fell to the ground, dazed. Feather sliced one of the necks off. She took the other one high into the air.

Hannah smiled and watched her. She was an amazing bird. She and Feather had such a bond.

Mark looked to Caroline and smiled "Meet you at the main door in 10" He said and turned to go up to his room to put the food in his bag for the mission
