Just got home from dog training.

I've got 4 baby buttons

One doesn't look right

seems to be having trouble with one leg , hmm , will keep an eye on it.
2 more are pipping and I can hear peeping inside the eggs.
None of the hatched or pipped are the one I candled and could see.
I've no clue about button colors but of the 4 out , 2 are yellow looking and 2 are black/yellow stripey ones.

Here's the 1st four in the brooder.
I'm noticing one of the yellows has a little red/orange hue to it.
First pic the two dark ones are clumped together.

Three more dark striped ones have hatched ( still no action from the one I candled ) .
So we are up to 7 baby buttons

Okay the yellow with the silver undertones is a silver or slate when it is bigger we will be able to tell. The yellow with the brown undertones is a cinnamon. The black with yellow strips is a golden pearl. Black with red strips is wild.

That one that is darker, and with the two stripes down it's back... it looks like mine that are a week old. Well I mean in color it does. I hope I have the same breed as you do! What a lovely variety! All mine are the exact same. Can't tell one from the other. You're so lucky!

Edit to add... I'm wrong. Mine have light colored stripes and reddish brown backs, with reddish brown tails.

I can see the yellow strips on one the other I think looks like red it is hard for me to see

"Candle Quail" decided to join the others

Now have 8 babies.
For mini fuzz butts they sure make a lot of noise !!!!
