It's always best to go down and get them yourself. You don't want them riding around for 8 hours with the mail carrier. They are more apt to stay warm at the PO as well. They will call you early (most likely before the PO opens) and you just go to the back door and get your birds.I will be at work when they arrive so im using post office close to work. if i was to use post office close to home that would be a hour drive to get them. maybe i should of used work address. i will call post office,
