The only quail eggs I'm getting now are buttons, up to my ears in those!

Well my cochins stopped laying with the cold. I now offer 6+ cuckoo marans.
I have a couple of other things I could throw in, but fertility has not been checked on them. They would just be extras. I have a bantam frizzle hen laying (she is black and roo is straight feathered blue) and EEs that are in with my cuckoo marans roo, so they would make olive eggers.

I don't think it's your eggs. I know my girls are slow. I'm getting like 5 eggs a week out of 15 hens.

When the chickens get back in the swing, so too will the thread. I'd take the marans, but I have nothing laying from pure birds at the moment, sooo.... will just have to wait till spring!
