I guess I don't really know . I bought eggs a couple years ago and they were sold as speckled sussex . All the birds I have come from these original eggs . I do know they are very beautiful and winter hardy little birds . I've always thought them to be pure but don't remember ever saying they were . I can take them off of the offer and just offer 6+ serama in their place . ~~~~ Tammy
