I need your address for the Barnevelder eggs, please. It helps me keep track if I have PMs to refer to.

I wonder if those are the large birds like bbs? If so I may try to get some. They sure are pretty.

Yes. These are Large Fowl that I have been working on for several years.

When ever I get room in my bators i'll have to try to get some of those. They are beautiful.

Here are the chicks that hatched out in the first round with the swap eggs. I have some JB quail too but they won't stand still long enough for a pic. They are outside in their permanent pen now and loving it. The ones in the pic are in the grow pen that's still in the shed. They will get moved out this weekend.

Of course the ducklings are already in their enclosure enjoying their muddy pond.

The 2 smaller silkies that moved out of the pic just as I snapped it are from the swap also.

The ringneck pheasants are in lock down, one hatched in the turner yesterday. It's fine and a cuddle bug.

Just had to share.

Wish I had that many babies to show for my swaps. Eggs have not been traveling very well to me. I just pulled beautiful Welsummer eggs yesterday with no development and floating air cells. I do have some Buckeyes that are scheduled to hatch in a couple of days.

Seeing some orps in there! Good job!

I had 8 of 10 orp crosses from Lmiller hatch out. No pics - sold them all. My silkies from you are due in a couple days. Turkens too. They are all doing well. Should have a good percentage hatch out.

I have had 2 batches of Wellie eggs shipped, and not a single one to show for it. Now 2 of the 3 EE/Wellie eggs hatched....I don't think Wellie eggs like shipping.

I had 3 bators full of eggs and I lost a couple after they where put in the grow pen and lost about 4 due to deformaties and alot where just shook up during shipping, some died before they hatched and some where quitters. There are only a few I plan to keep out of this bunch. There are 2 Ameracauna's in the mix that came from show stock that i'll keep and the orph pullets which I think there are about 3 maybe 4. I kept all the JB quail which there where 11 that hatched. I have 6 boys in the quail crowd but I have more eggs due to arrive around the 21st so i'll wait till I know what I get out of those before I send any to the freezer.

I have 5 bbs orph eggs due for lock down on the 16th. The girls from that i'll keep also. I promised Blue I would get him some girls. Poor fella is a year old and I had to take him out of the coop of rir's I had because he got too big for them. He's been a loner ever since. The ameracauna's, if they turn out show worthy, thats what i'll do with them. If not i'll just sell them. The ducks, I got from lamike. The other ones I got from somebody else didn't develope at all. I have more from lamike that are all doing well and go in lock down on the 16th and some from daze333 due for lock down on the 18th. I have guinea and those orphs due for lock down on the 16th also along with some silkies on the 18th. I just got some Georgie Giant bob whites in on monday and will have some jap bantams and more quail coming anyday. The post office is taking their time with them. I think they may be waiting to see if they hatch in the box before they let me have them.

I plan to hatch out some more of my silkies too. I put a new roo with the sizzles and after I fill an order with those i'll hatch some out for myself.

Ok, enough chit chat. Back to the regularly scheduled program. I gotta go and plant the tomato plants.
