I'm lurking around waiting to pounce on some BCM or Wellies for their dark eggs. In a few weeks I'll probably start branching out when I have more eggs to trade.

lol you mean my choice of heritage vs hatchery? 8) yeah i'm picky but i'm contemplating crossing them over the dorkings, so i want the nice blocky heritage shape so i don't have to backtrack to get back to what i am looking to produce.

A little of each. The hens are out of a hatchery (Ideal), but the roo is out of nice heritage lines. Hoping for some good layers with a little more conformity from this group.

tinkering with genetics mostly. 8) i'm looking for crele but dorkings only come in cuckoo (rapid feathering barred) and i want the slow feathering barred like heritage barred rocks have, to get that distinct even barring, rather than the blurring like you get with cuckoo.
