My OEs are only 4 weeks old. My pick EE is pictured above. She has me confused. She is the only EE in the Marans pen and occasionally I get two green eggs a day from that pen. DH swears he's not playing a joke on me. She doesn't lay consistenlty every day, so possibly a timing thing, although sometimes I collect consective days and get a double egg day in the middle. She doesn't do it nearly so often now that she's been laying a couple of months. I still don't believe it and had forgotten about it until I got two eggs from her yesterday, and she still gave me one today. I just can't remember if I got one the day before.

My other EEs are mixed (hatchery). I'll get some pictures.

I will take JC's offer and offer up one of the following;

6+ Cuckoo Marans eggs (hatchery (Welp and Privett) birds, but nice color of eggs) Chicks can be sex-linked pretty reliably.



6+ LF Buff Brahma eggs (hatchery birds, but very large and docile)




8+ Silkie eggs (breeder stock from Mary Robbins and breeder in Monroe, WA) Eggs will be a combo from all 3 pens.

Pen #1 all partridge
Pen #2 White roo over white and black hens with 1 black showgirl
Pen #3 Cuckoo and blue roo over blue and splash hens.
