Keep them separate from your chickens. They eat game bird feed. Add water and stand back, they grow like crazy!

From what I know about Norwegian Jaerhon and ones that I have seen, you have some really nice ones. A good hardy breed that I am sure would do well free ranging.

Why thank you. I was a bit unsure of their quality as they are from Ideal, but maybe they haven't been in the US long enough to have been corrupted?

They are cool little birds, easy on feed and purported to be great foragers (mine are still in their breeding tractor.) Got 10 of their eggs in my own bator.
