I am super curious because I have looked at a few sites and some have such a large selection. All seem to be legit with positive reviews. 48 hour shipping guarantee to ensure the birds health. I currently have 3 ducks, 2 hens and a rooster and I am IN LOVE with my birds. Really wanted to expand my birds and add some unique additions! I bought my current babies locally at TS and none of them turned out to be what they where sold as. My “Rhode Island Red” hen is a Red Star, my four white meat birds was all supposed to be laying hens, but all except one was a rooster. My “Pekin” and “Khaki Campbell” turned out to be Indian runner ducks, and my “male mallard” turned out to be a female😫 just looking for a more reliable source to buy from! Here’s some pictures of my babies for you all to enjoy🥰 ignore me in the last one, me and “Mama” are super close🤞🏼🤪🐔 She was sitting beside me fluffling her feathers the other morning on the arm of my chair and I look over and she looks at me and gently grabs a strand of my hair, pulls alittle and stares me in the eyes😂 it surprised me. she thinks she’s a human😂View attachment 2259167View attachment 2259169View attachment 2259173View attachment 2259174View attachment 2259175View attachment 2259177

Meyer has done right by me, really small 4 chick order in July all were alive and exactly what I ordered.
And Hoover's the hatchery that supplies TSC kicked butt for me this year.

Good to know! I've had bad experiences, but not with either Meyer or Hoover's. I'm looking at getting a small order next spring/summer, and I have specific breeds in mind. I'll keep both in mind.

I was at TSC the other day, and couldn't believe my eyes: Hamburgs, Sicilian Butter ups, Blue Jersey Giants and Russian Orlaffs!!! Took ALL my willpower bot to snag one of each!

ETA: Adding Ideal to my list of possibles!

Ideal Poultry, who is also an advertiser on this site, has an excellent selection and you get what you order. They’re not overpriced. I had a great experience dealing with them.
Lol yeah. They are certainly not the only good option. I have also had success this year with JM Hatchery for guineas and Thechickhatchery for Cornishx. But for @MamaBird89 needs, I tihnk Ideal would be well...ideal!

If you want to mix and match then Meyer is the ticket.
Really pretty birds too.
And everybody is right about service, I talked to a guy over an hour about chickens and the Chinese chick sexing team they use .
Guy was delightful.
