A fancy chicken breed from germany, I think. Named because they lay an egg every day until they die, according to something, I'm pretty sure.

Basically what black_cat said. They’re rumored to lay until the day they die. Not everyday though. I have one adult silver deathlayer hen and she doesn’t lay very well Leghorns are definitely better!
