Only got 8 of 10 ordered from MPC

I am missing 2 chicks. I ordered 10 different breeds, but did put that would accept substitutions. Anyone know what the deal is??? I emailed them but no answer yet.
So how does that "chick math" work? If I ordered 10, but was shorted 2, does that mean I should order 6 more?

Were you charged for all 10 chicks or just the 8 you got?

Jokes about 'math' aside, the shipping fees are different based on how many you order. If you were shorted two chicks, you need a refund for a) the price of the two you did not get, and b) the change in shipping fees.

Someone posted that one of the feeder hatcheries for MPC had a problem with ORPs and lost 19,000 of them.
Are you missing Orps?

MPC Will make good and most likely credit you or offer you additional chicks. They always make things right!

The problem extended to the EE's too. I call in because I was worried it would affect my order (3 EE's next week) and they told me that the incubator just stopped working. But it was only the one incubator.
