I have a small flock. Two were purchases at a local feed store and 5 came along two weeks later once hatched. They are now 6.5 months old. The birds purchased have been laying for four weeks. I expected the others to follow. It’s still in the upper 80’s/90 and sunny. My two laying hens have slowed significantly and my non layers are still non layers. Thoughts to whether we will get any eggs before spring? I know they slow as the days get shorter but our weather is still nice so I’m confused.

The weather doesn't have much if anything to do with it. It's the number of hours of daylight that stimulates ovulation.
The younger pullets may start laying this winter. It all depends on the individual birds and when their reproductive systems mature.

For two, The hen was a Salmon Faverolle. I did see her. The rooster reported to be a buff Orpington. While they may have some of that, they look part barred rock. The third is a Rhode Island Red. The fourth a speckled Sussex.
