Only one busy girl

As I waited for my 6 girls to start laying, I was so excited when I got my first egg. Two months later, she is still the only girl to be laying. They are all 27 weeks old, appear to be fully developed in their combs and waddles - I even placed some fake easter eggs in their nests with no avail. Any one got any advice on what the others are doing??

I can sympathize. We have 4 chickens and only one has been laying for over 6 weeks now. I don't get why the others haven't kicked in yet. They are 27 and 29 weeks old! Our one layer hasn't even slowed down with the shorter days, still giving us 5-6 eggs a week.
