only one chick

I had a mother hen sitting on six eggs. Only one chick hatched, who seems great. Any special considerations for only one chick with its mother?

I don't know since I haven't had any broody hens yet, but would be interested in this answer too.

Seems to me like it should just be one happy, spoiled chick.
