Only one hatched - help me figure out what went wrong please.

Good hatching vibes coming your way!!!!

Wow....he is FAST. He is out and having a rest.

He is one of my easter eggers and is very dark. I can't really get a picture of him as he is resting behind a piece of styrofoam wall.

I didn't think through my set up very well for watching purposes!! I do have 2 cartons of eggs right below the 2 windows, but I can't see anything happening on them.

The little guy is just a chirpin'. My 9 year old woke up just in time to see him hatch (it's only 6:30 a.m. here).

Congratulations!
Sounds like you've already beat your hatching average for last year

Practice makes a real difference, as do accurate tools. I learned that the hard way, too.

Have fun today!!!

My lone little chicky is starting to dry up and is looking much lighter than I originally thought.

Nothing else happening, but day 21 hasn't even started yet...we are in the last hour of day 20.

I WILL NOT OPEN THE BATOR AND PLAY WITH MY NEW CHICKIE......

I will not open the bator. I will not open the bator.

Good thing I have a coffee date in 10 minutes and have a million things on my to-do list today!

Well, I still only have one baby at the end of day 21. It hatched 24 hours ago and still no pips on any of the other eggs.

I took chickee out early this morning and tried to sneak it under my broody who was sleeping in a box in my dark garage.

Broody freaked out and started pecking the baby so now chickee is snoozing in the pocket of my fuzzy housecoat. I tried to put him into a brooder box with a stuffy, but he cried and cried. He likes my pocket!

I hope someone else hatches. This little guy is LONELY! And I am too busy to mother a baby right now.....
